I am deeply committed to student advocacy and to improving university life for graduate students. I currently serve as Vice President Internal of CUPE 3913, where I represent teaching assistants and sessional lecturers.
Previously, I represented Lang Graduate students on Senate, served as Student Senate Caucus Co-Chair, and advanced student interests on several University of Guelph committees and Senate sub-committees. I am currently the Student Representative on the PhD in Management Program Committee.
I was born in Yellowknife, NWT; but, spent most of my formative years growing up in northern British Columbia. As a member of Girl Guides of Canada for over 20 years, my passions for nature and travel were fostered at a young age. Those interests continue to guide how I spend my time outside of work. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, climbing mountains, and traveling, and I balance these adventures with creative practice. I have a deep appreciation for visual arts and often spend my free time painting, crocheting, embroidering, or photographing nature.
“The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.”

"Education is not just about going to school and getting a degree. It's about widening your knowledge and absorbing the truth about life."
